Frequently asked questions

How do I make the AI ceiling fan outfit transition?

Choose a model or upload your photo, add four outfit images, then select a resolution and generate. Retwist supplies the overhead scene and fan-blade outfit transition; you do not need to film a ceiling fan.

How many photos do I need for the ceiling fan trend?

With Choose your model, upload four outfit photos. With Upload your photo, add one character portrait plus four outfit photos. The portrait controls the character and is separate from the four outfits.

Which outfit appears first, and can I change the order?

The first outfit photo is the opening look. The other three follow in upload order. Drag the outfit previews or use their keyboard reorder controls before generating to change that order.

Does Under the Fan mean the same effect as the ceiling fan transition?

Under the Fan and ceiling fan outfit transition describe the overhead fashion effect where a passing fan blade hides an outfit change. This Retwist template creates four looks in a 15-second vertical video.

Will the fan keep rotating in the same direction?

The template instructs the fan to rotate clockwise after activation and conceal the outfit changes with its blades. AI output can vary, so perfect motion or transitions are not guaranteed.

Can I upload a photo of a real person?

Use Upload your photo for a person who has agreed to appear. Choose your model uses an available digital character instead. Provider safety checks still apply to uploaded photos; consent does not guarantee that every image will be accepted.

How long does generation take, and can I leave the page?

Generation time depends on the provider and its queue; no fixed completion time is promised. You can leave after the request is submitted. Check Studio for processing status and the finished video.

What should I do if generation fails or is being checked?

Check Studio and Credit activity for the job status and any returned credits. If the status says the result is being checked, do not submit the same video again yet; contact support@retwist.ai with the job ID.

Will the result match the preview exactly?

The preview demonstrates the intended effect. AI generation can change faces, motion, clothing, product detail and text. An exact match is not guaranteed. Review your finished video before sharing it.
